Here you have earned a refreshing break on the cool lakeshore before you start your return journey via Ambach, Holzhausen and Münsing along the well-maintained cycle paths to Wolfratshausen.

Along the Isar to Bad Tölz

Coming from the train station, you first cycle along the Föhrenwald until you change to the Isar cycle path at the end of the town. Relaxing bike tour from Wolfratshausen to Munich.

On this relaxing tour you follow the historic rafts along the Isar to Munich on well-surfaced paths. Once there, the S-Bahn S7 is ready to take you comfortably back from the state capital. Beginners and young families cover the good 30-kilometre route in about 2 hours.

From the train station in Wolfratshausen, the route first goes over the Isar bridge into the Pupplinger Au. The Isar cycle path leads along the renaturalised riverbank and through quiet woodland to Hellabrunn Zoo. Over the Thalkirchner bridge you get on the right track to Mittersendling station, where you start the return journey by S-Bahn. Alternatively, use the cycle paths to Wolfratshausen on the opposite bank of the Isar for a sporty extension of your tour.
