Golfing in Wolfratshausen and the surrounding area

Did you know that Germany's first ecological golf course is located in Wolfratshausen? Some of our guests come here specifically for this reason. They enjoy indulging in their favourite sport in front of a fantastically beautiful mountain backdrop under environmentally friendly conditions. Others only play an occasional round or have discovered golf for themselves here for the first time. No matter which category you belong to - the Landhaus Café, Restaurant and Hotel offers a stylish base for everyone who wants to take advantage of the opportunity to play golf in Wolfratshausen and the surrounding area.

Beautiful view & nature

The Bergkramerhof golf course is located on the Wolfratshauser hill only five minutes by car from the centre of the village. The idyllic, slightly hilly terrain is surrounded by forests and offers a magnificent panoramic view all the way to the Alps. The lovingly maintained 18-hole course is suitable for beginners as well as experienced golfers. Since 2014, the course has completely dispensed with pesticides and has thus taken on an important pioneering role in the ecological turnaround in golf. The course rules of the World Golf Associations, which have been simplified since 2019, are optimally implemented at the Bergkramerhof to protect the natural areas. Instead of a "perfect", ecologically highly questionable lawn along the lines of Augusta National, a unique natural park with many untouched areas awaits you here, into which the playing field is harmoniously integrated.

We look forward to your visit

In addition to the Bergkramerhof, there are a number of other attractive golfing options in Wolfratshausen and the surrounding area. For example, there is the Golfclub München-Riedhof e.V., where guests are also welcome on weekdays. The family-friendly, sporty and challenging 18-hole course is located only 3.7 km from the centre of Wolfratshausen and is characterised by its diversely designed fairways.

Also open to guests on weekdays is the challenging 27-hole course of the Munich Golf Club in Straßlach, about 13 km northeast of Wolfratshausen. Opened in 1964, the course was redesigned a few years ago by Perry O. Dye, the famous American golf course architect. With its three 9-hole loops, it offers interesting variations for every level of play. Other golf courses in Wolfratshausen and the surrounding area can be found in Starnberg, Feldafing, Tutzing and Beuerberg.
